2016 “Point Made” Yarra Valley Pinot Noir - 6 pack

Sometimes in life you are blessed with good fortune and you unquestioningly just have to run with it. The 2016 “Point Made” is more considered and intentionally made than its predecessor. Fortuitously early in the growing season the fruit from the Upper Yarra Valley “Tibooburra” vineyard was offered to us again. Handpicked in late March, it was naturally fermented with approximately 18% whole bunch MV6 clone, kept on skins for 14 days and pressed into French oak barrels and matured for 9 months at Gembrook Hill. Picky hit the highway in early December to retrieve wine. A “Point Made” is all the better for a road trip. This wine is a contemplative drop - the appreciation of wine is not a destination but a remarkable journey.
