All good wines stem from a brilliant idea.  Some require cogitation and rumination and others are perhaps more instantaneous.  Introducing ‘Point Made’ Pinot Noir, one of those brilliant decisions made on a whim – welcome to the Pick Projects! A single site Pinot Noir from the ‘Tibooburra’ vineyard in upper Yarra Valley. 20-year-old vines planted to the MV6 clone. A small percentage of whole bunches were included in the natural ferment. Remained on skins for 14 days and managed with brief and gentle punch downs. After pressing, this wine was transported to the Barossa Valley for maturation in French hogsheads. This wine evolves in the glass which is perfect for long conversations.
