This 1654 clone Shiraz was handpicked off the ‘Jenke Road Block’ in the third week of February 2015. Vinified in an open fermenter the wine was left on skins for ten days before pressing. Post malolactic fermentation, this wine was matured for 14 months in French oak hogsheads then racked and returned during maturation for freshness and clarity. Decant for a special meal, although Tuesday nights are an appropriate occasion as well!

1500 bottles made.
